This substantial RIO 700 / Scarani 24 Cabin Fish 7.2 metre fishing / family boat was registered in 2003. It is a very spacious, light and airy Spanish design with panoramic windows in the cabin and has plenty of space on deck outside the lockable patio doors. It has 4 rod holders built into the side for fishing (two more are available to clamp to the side rails) and a folding bench seat at the rear.
A special family feature of the Rio 700 is the upper sunbathing deck that is big enough to take a sunbed. It is also a great adventure for the children to be able to watch things from the excellent vantage point above! There are few boats around of this size and price offering that opportunity.
The boat has done 859 hours and is running very well. It has the later 4.3 MPI Mercruiser engine. The engine and leg has just been serviced with new oil, new fuel and air filters, new water pump impeller and new anodes fitted. The engine is very easy to access and there is generous storage space throughout. There is a Midland marine VHF radio and a stereo plus fenders, anchor, chain and rope. Recently anti-foul painted.
The Rio 700 boats are very popular in Spain and the Cabin Fish is particularly sought after with its protected enclosed cabin, self draining deck, upper sunbathing deck and versatile fishing potential. These boats are very practical and yet look quite special and striking. They are also very safe to get around with plenty of grab rails and wide side decks.
The cabin has not had heavy use and so the furnishings and decor are all in very good condition. There is a sea toilet and there is a small sink on deck and a shower built in to a small compartment above the bathing platform. As an included extra, the rear can also be covered with a bimini top that is beige and in average condition.
